Puesta del Sol History

Since the filing of building restrictions by Richard Hagar for Puesta del Sol Subdivision #1 in 1960, Puesta del Sol (PdS) has been the home to evolving residents and Subdivisions. 1962 saw the recording of PdS Subdivisions #2 and #3, followed by Subdivision #4 in 1971.

Each Subdivision had it’s own set of restrictive covenants until consolidation in 2004 produced a common covenant document for all four Subdivisions. Along the way several relatively minor modifications were also made to the covenants. Recently, each subdivision voted to consolidate the 4 individual subdivision voting blocks into a single PdS HOA voting block.

PdS is contained within the Tres Arroyos del Poniente Community Plan area.
